2Pac in general: ... Tupac Shakur a.k.a 2pac has been hailed as one, if not the best and most provocative rappers of the 20th century. From his poems, to his lyrical genius on the mic to his critic pleasing performances on the silver screen, 2pac caught the imagination of a nation and made them realise the harshness of the ghetto with his famous quote. "If I keep talking about how dirty it is here, somebody gonna clean i...

loozylu Eve in general
... a year ago I bought Eve’s latest album, ‘Scorpion’. It was like the soundtrack to my summer. I listened to it on my discman on the beach on holiday, I listened to it when I got back from holiday, and all through the rest of the summer. Has anyone ever put on a CD after not listening to it for ages? Two days ago I rediscovered this album, and all of the summer 2001 memories came flooding back. Music has that effect. Eve truly has made her name as one of todays best female rappers. Her music is hip hop/RnB, and on the album, Scorpion, she even included reggae and work with Ruff Riders, which shows how musically, multi-talented she is. If you d...

666disturbed Cypress Hill in general
... now i'm on to a subject that i know and love ! Cypress Hill have been a major part of my life since Black Sunday was released all those years ago. When i first got into the Hill they we're musically superior to just about all the other rap styles i'd heard, Black Sunday kicked some serious arse, with riffs like lil putos & hand on the glock, so many great tunes. Many years later & i'm damn proud of the boys, not only are they still on the scene, they are still my number 1. I started getting into the metal scene a few years ago and i'm now a serious mosh head, but Cypress has always been with me and i'm glad to see the boys have also expa...

mattydalton 2Pac in general
... Amaru Shakur, or Lesane Parish Crooks as some of his bigger fans may know him, was born to Afeni Shakur on the 16th June 1971 in Brooklyn. His mother changed his name to Tupac Amaru, meaning 'shining serpent', after an Inca Indian revolutionary. Shakur simply means 'thankful to God'. To his friends and family he was more commonly known as the 'Black Prince' throughout his childhood. At the age of two, Tupac ceased being an only child when his mother gave birth to a baby girl, Sekyiwa. Mutulu, Sekyiwa's father and a Black Panther, was sentenced to sixty years imprisonment for his part in a fatal armed robbery just a few months before she w...
