Commitments in general:
... them in person was a treat, but each time I saw them it only got better! I was fortunate enough to have front row centre for all three shows in Winnipeg, Canada, and it was well worth the money. They dont throw in any huge fancy light shows or other distractions, just the music, and of course....the band! It certainly doesn t sound like it. REM in general ... are a band who ve always had a recognisable sound, even when they ve gone off on a tangent, and yet have managed to progress steadily through the years. Many people would argue that the early 90s was their peak, but what of the decade before and the decade after? Well let s find out! Here, and in technicolour, is the breakdown of all REM s studio albums. 1. Murmur (1983). 6/10. I very much doubt if many people hearing Murmur in 1983 had the slightest inkling that these jingly jangly songs were the work of a band that would later achieve greatness. The Mission in general ... OVERVIEW - Set in the late 1700 s in South America, The Mission is a powerful tale of a Jesuit priest and a slave driver coming together to protect the native tribes of the jungles there. Starring Robert De Niro and Jeremy Irons who dominant the film, there is moving acting, using emotions rather than words to express the mood of the movie. The film sees Robert De Niro ending his part in capturing slaves for the Europeans plantations and joining Jeremy Irons to convert the jungle tribes to Christianity and additionally cleanse him of his sins.
