Pink Floyd in general ... Floyd collection of great dance songs. I like lots of different kinds of music. Pink Floyd is a band that I have liked from when I was young. I have a lot of their records on Vinyl. When I saw a cd entitled a collection of great dance tunes I could not resist it. This C D contains a few songs from when I first listened to Pink Floyd at the age of 16/17 in 1971, up to songs produced in 1981. When I was a young teenager I did not listen to pop music much preferring to listen to underground music, I guess I was being a bit snobby I wanted to be different, not one of the sheep. White Stripes in General ... Meg White s heavy drum beats and Jack s amazing guitar skills, this duo could be the best band in America. The Detroit pair have shocked millions with the announcment of the travesty of them not being brother and sister and infact being the worlds most famous divorcee couple. But this didn t change their amazing run in music and infact made them a better and more popular band. With Jack s infamous fight with The Von Bondies frontman Jason Treiblster and his broken finger you can realy appreciate their courage.
