Im not usually one for listening to remixes of songs - remix to me usually meant the original song put to a faster drum beat with a few rapidly repeated phrases! But, through my brother playing them, i've listened to a few of ja rule's remixes. And I must say I've been impressed. His version of jennifer lopes' single 'Im Real' was alot better than the original. It has a very chilled out feel to it and makes you want to keep listening to it - a sort of addictive quality. He did a song with a young female singer called 'Always on Time' which I also liked and now listen to lots. Ive just recently got my first car and ... Read the complete review

Your own merit, then Def Jam's latest rap phenomenon, Ja Rule is destined for greatness. Juggling roles within DMX's Ruff Ryder camp and Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella imprint, the 21-year old native of Hollis, Queens has been responsible for some of today's hottest hip hop verses. Ja's distinctive gravel-stone voice and fiery presence have blessed projects that include: "Murdergram" a single on the Streets Is Watching Soundtrack; Jay-Z's "Can I Get A...;" and "Gangsta Shit" from DJ Clue's The Professional. Importantly, with the highly anticipated release of his debut album Venni, Vetti, Vecci (Latin for "He came, he saw, he conquered"), Ja Rule establishes his place as a force to ... Due to the fact that there is no section for the album 'Rule 3:36' I will have to make my statement here... After hearing the infectious styles of 'Holla', I was expecting good things from Ja Rule's first album, Venni Veti Vecci. Unfortunately, I was left severely disappointed by, what to tell the truth was a pretty poor attempt. I could see the same happening with Rule 3:36. After having heard Between Me And You, and Put It On Me, on Westwood, I was very impressed and I was hoping to hear the rest of the album along the same lines. Luckily I was nowhere near as disappointed. Ja Rule has taken a lot of criticism for sounding too much like DMX, ... Read the complete review

ja rule, is great the two albums which are his newest have really made him more popular, especially rule 3:36. this is one of his latest albums, and because of the new realeased song 'every little thing' that album has gone to the top of his list, not only has it got that track which features christina milan, there is also a track after it called 'put it on me' and that has been shown on some music channels a few times now, so watch out for some of ja rules new albums, becaase he might be rocketing off to the top. Some people say that he has a kind of grouchy and deep voice like dmx, which i think is true, and many say that he has ... Read the complete review
