Advantages: Good Tracks
Disadvantages: None
I recently borrowed Jagged Edge's album off a mate of mine. Even though they have been around for a while, i have never really noticed their music until their "Let's Get Married" tune came out. Their new album is really good and contains various tracks which are both slow and fast. The group consists of 5 black RnB artists (guys). So if your into rnb you should like this album alot. They're very similar to bands such as Damage and 112. There are 15 tracks in the album altogether and they are as follows: (1). The Saga Continues (2). Where the Party at (feat. Nelly) (3). Goodbye (4). Cut Sumthin' (5). Girl it's Over (6). Can we be tight (7). I got it (8). Best Man (9). Without You (10). Driving me to Drink (11). This goes out (12). Respect (13). Head of Household (14). Remedy (15). Promise (Remix) I particularly like tracks 2, 3, 12 and 15. However, all of the tunes on this album are reasonably good and it isn't one of those albums where there are more crap tracks than good one's!! Many of the tracks also relate to real life issues that people face in life (mainly about relationships) and doesn't contain tracks where you don't even know what the basic message is that they're trying to put across! I thoroughly recommend you invest in this album, as it is definately one you should include in your CD collection and one that you'll be listening to over and over again! Happy listening!!! :-)

- 12/07/01 Sorry if a NU rating seems harsh. Listing the tracks and telling us that the album is good is not providing enough information for this opinion to be considered useful. You could try explaining why you like this album, what type of music it is, who the band are, what other bands they're similar to, etc.
Please let me know if you do add to this opinion, I'll come back and reread. |
