Advantages: Sweeping vocals, Meaningful lyrics, Memorable
Disadvantages: Not as long as I would like
Wow. I have heard the most amazing song ever written. Wondering what I am talking about? It's JJ72's 'Oxygen'. I heard this a few times on an advert about a year ago, but had never heard it in full until last week. After the first listen, I reached for the repeat button and listened in complete awe. The sweeping tenor vocals of Mark Greaney, coupled with the atmospheric violins that communicate raw emotion and anguish made it an unforgettable experience. I shall certainly be buying the album (as soon as I get some money!) and will be hoping for more classic songs like this from a very promising Irish trio. Five stars.

- 19/05/02 Also sorry about my rating, but it would be of more use if you had the album and had listened to it. Yes, "Oxygen" is a pretty decent tune, but one swallow doesn't make a summer, to use the old cliche. Let me know when you've written about the whole album, and I'll re-read.
IAIN.
