... he lyrics, it just begs for your attention. Katatonia have changed their style when the 'Discouraged Ones' album was released. You can tell this because the style of their Name changed. If you know the band 'Emperor' or 'Cathedral', well it used to look like that kind of style, if you dont know them, it was a very intricate design of the word 'Katatonia' (and some people might find it hard to read). Katatonia are a gothic metal band from Stolkholm in Sweden. I never really knew what genre of music they were catagorised under, but mp3.com called them 'gothic metal'. I guess that would be about right given the nature of the lyrics. I was drawn towards Katatonia for their dark and dispaired lyrics and song titles.
