What can i say? That Kid Rock is crap. The guy and music is quite original - but everything else is a load of shit. Who does this guy think he is? He must have the biggest ego in the world. Wearing those lame-ass shirts with all the buttons undone - to show how weak and lanky he is. And always showing he lives the 'rockstar' lifestyle - money, fame and of course - girls. Basically rubbing our faces in the fact the he is successful and famous and has everything, and that we are just mere simple humans, with no life. I really do hate that bastard.
Once upon a time I had no taste in music. Buth then, through WWF and the Undertaker or the 'American Badass', I found Kid Rock. I loved the Undertaker's theme song, 'American Bad Ass' by Kid Rock, so I went out and bought his album, 'The History Of Rock'! After the initial sea of fu*ks, sh*ts and whor*s, I really got into it! So I went out and bought his other available album, 'Devil Without A Cause'. Both albums are full of bangin' choons which may well suit all tastes! There are some rappy songs, some heavy guitar songs, some which are a mixture of the two and even the odd quiet song! Some people may put Kid Rock down because a lot of his songs are about him and how great he is. But the music still rocks and who cares if he loves himself, why shouldn't he? There is some amazing guitar riffs on his tracks (even my Eric Clapton loving dad thinks so!). Personally I can't get enough of Kid Rock, he was my key to heavy metal, which I am loving so much. Some may not like him. But if you buy any of his CD's you are sure to find a song you like. If you ever get really into him, check out some of his early stuff! Either off Napster or his first CD 'Grits Sandwiches For Breakfast'. The songs are so bad they are verging on good! Worth a laff! Give the Kid a try! I would like to take this opportunity to pay my respects to Kid Rock's good friend and fellow Twisted Brown Trucker band member Joe C. He died earlier this year. We'll all miss ya lil buddy.
Kid Rock, the detroit pimp, (who is underground and usually stoned). Kid Rock is a genius, by looking at him, you probably would not think that he is a very skilled piano player and you probably wouldn't think that he produces all his albums and some other artists. His first album, Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast is a great album, but compared to the rest of his work, I have to say it is the worst album of his. I own two of his albums, Devil Without A Cause and History Of Rock. History of Rock is kind of like his greatest hits, his best work from his older lps. He has recorded two new tracks for it which are true Kid Rock. He has a unique mixture of rap and rock, which is sometimes peppered with a bit of country. A true example of his diversity is Devil Without A Cause. You have the slow track, Only God Knows Why..and then you have the heavy rock tracks like Bawitdaba and Fist Of Rage. None of his songs feel out of place, out of rhythm or out of tune. He got his big bnreak over here by having his "American Bad Ass" song used as WWF wrestler the Undertaker's theme music. That is no mean feat, as wrestling is becoming quite a big influence on the rock scene, with Disturbed, Limp Bizkit and Motorhead all heard on WWF T.V for the entrances for for Stone Cold, Undertaker and HHH. Kid Rock has recently experienced the death of his little bud, Joe C. Joe C was the life of the tour bus and the most famous member of the Twisted Brown Trucker band which also includes Uncle Kracker. Kid has stated that his new album, the follow up to Devil Without A Cause is going to be released this year. If its half as good as its predecessor, then we are in for a right, rock treat, courtesy of Kid.

Another white boy from Detroit just like Eminem. I have Kid's latest two albums: Devil Without A Cause and History of Rock. I have to say they both rule but D W A C is better. I don't know why Kid Rock's singles aren't released in England. They would all definately go to number 1 if people heard them. My favourite is Only God Knows Why from Devil Without A Cause! Hopefully in the future we will see more of Kid Rock in England and I think he will be a huge hit here!
He's relatively original, I'll give him that. I wouldn't consider listening to his allegedly interesting blend of hip hop and metal, and whatever else, however. It jus ain't my type of music. What counts in his favour, mind, is the fact that he seems to do what he does with his tongue in his cheek. You get the impression that he's just making the noise he makes for the hell of it, and doesn't necessarily want to be taken seriously, he just wants to get recognition, and indeed money. I still don't like the music, though.
Kidrock could possibly be my favourite artist, I bought the album Devil Without a Cause after hereing the cover single and thinking how good it was, Kidrock has a great ability to flow which alot of other people can't, especially with his diverse variety of lyrics. This album includes feats from such other artists as the the great Eminem and the lesser known but still cool, Joe C (kinda short) and Twisted Brown Trucker. His songs are wide in variety ranging from Rap to rock and even very occasionally to slow RnB. Hiw latest album, History of Rock is also great as it delivers songs from many of his older albums including Polyfuze and Early mornin' stoned pimp. This album is not the follow up to Devil without a cause as that is to be released later this year. History of Rock is an album full of Kidrocks personal favourites from over the years. If you like either rap or rock i highly recomend history, but if you are pulled more towards the rap end of the scale, choose the devil.
I first got into Kid Rock from th 1999 Grammy awards where he did his American Man song. I thought that he was great and what also made him extra cool was that Jesse, his 11 year old promoter kicked it even more. I bought the album the HISTORY OF ROCK on it`s MAY 26 release. I was even more happy when I heard my favourite track "American Bad Ass" on wwf. Kid Rock songs ae absoulutly amaxing and whenever i play a C.D at a party the whole place goes mental. I cant really say much more on KID ROCK because the album speaks for itslef.
