Limp Bizkit - Live

I've seen Limp Bizkit twice now. The first time that I saw them was in Manchester years ago when they only had $100 bill y'all out. This is when they were good musically, and good live. The concert was really wicked, the band were totally getting into it and the crowd were totally getting into it too, the energy at the concert was wicked. Fred Durst really played the crowd aswell, but also played quality music at the same time........however....I then saw Limp Bizkit at Reading 2000. Oh dear. I saw the limp at reading 2000 at about 4 in the afternoon. it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I have liked the Bizkit for a long time now but I had never got to see them live. DJ Lethal came on and started with the intro track from significant other. Then the others came on stage but no Fred. They I heard a "HEY HEY". Fred was here! My idol had arrived. The 5 man assault crew then burst open the set with Show Me What You Got. It was a great song to kick off with because it is a song dedicated to the fans. Limp played all their classics. I saw limp bizkit at Reading Festival in 2000 and although they are not to everyones taste the put on an excellent show compared to the other bands that were onstage at 5 pm. At this time it was still light and bands had to make more of an effort to put an entertaining show on but limp bizkit pulled it off with style and skill. Their stage presense was excellent and the held a huge crowd in the arena and a huge mosh pit too. If you're near - by go to see them but i wouldn't travell too far. Wow, Limp Bizkit are defiantly up there with the great live bands like Rage Against the Machine, Slipknot, Eminem and Dre, thought the last two tend to be slightly more chilled! I saw Limp Bizkit at Reading 2000 and man they blew my mind! Well they were part of the reason anyway! The crowd were well up for the mosh though it was slightly bigger due to the relseas of the MI2 song that shot the band to stardom. Thereset was full of great songs and a good mosh but they kept trying to be funny, sayin this cover is great, then playin the first few bars of a song then laughing and not doing it, or sayin things like, "you know all in the family, well here are Korn" ...  Read the complete review

I went to see limp bizkit last year in Manchester and I have to admit it was an absolute joke. To start off our tickets wern't even for the floor. We had to sit on the seats along with the other hundreds of other "true" limp bizkit fans. Apparently the floor had sold out, or it was double the price to get down their. Looking from above on the seat, down to the floor I could see hundred of little kids in red caps with their daddies, who were obviously rich enough to afford the floor tickets.
