Advantages: the old stuff was good

Disadvantages: they got big headed

I've seen Limp Bizkit twice now. The first time that I saw them was in Manchester years ago when they only had $100 bill y'all out. This is when they were good musically, and good live. The concert was really wicked, the band were totally getting into it and the crowd were totally getting into it too, the energy at the concert was wicked. Fred Durst really played the crowd aswell, but also played quality music at the same time........however....I then saw Limp Bizkit at Reading 2000. Oh dear. They were REALLY bad, they played like 4 songs in their whole set, the rets of the time Fred Durst was just talking crap to the crowd, being a complete dick. They only played their most popular tracks too, then they started to play riffs from Krn and Metallica, which wuld have been amusing....only it wasn't, and people wanted to actually hear some music off them, it wouldn't have done them any harm to play some songs.... Basically Limp Bizkit are like a band you see on a film, they have a little talent, but then they let it get to their head and then becaome so egotistical that they don't care about the fans or the music anymore....with chocolate starfish they defnately don't care about the music, they found a formula that sells well and makes them a lot of cash so they;'ll stick to it....and the cash is "rollin'" in so they don't even have to perfrom well live anymore.....basically I wouldn't go to see Limp Bizkit again as they are now, maybe if they deflated their egos, and started playing good music again I'd reconsider.
