I personally am quite a big fan of Linkin' Park. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I can understand why Linkin' Park might not be of their taste in music. Anyway, I have decided to write this op on the 6 guy band to get across my view (plus I needed something else to write about lol). THE BAND: Linkin' Park is not just a rock band. This is generally what that they are seen as. The band members describe their music as a "cross-section of many genres; a hybrid of what the six of us have grown up on" explain the lads of Linkin' Park. The title of their lastest album (and its original band name), "Hybrid ... Read the complete review

Linkin Park, debut album "Hybrid Theory" took the Nu Metal world by storm, and started a craze. After Linkin Park were formed, along came the likes of Papa Roach and soon there were loads of Nu Metal groups around. But Linkin Park in my opinion remained the best Nu Metal could offer, and now they are Nu Metal legends. There first album "Hybrid Theory" took UK and USA by storm selling millions of copies. This made Linkin Parks name in the music industry, and created a whole legion of fans, which would worship them and be loyal to them. After two years, Linkin Park are still going strong with a second album in the works. ~~~~~~~~ ... Read the complete review

Linkin park are not your average rock band, first formed in a bedroom studio in 1996 Linkin park began a fusion of different styles to become a band who had their own sound. A mix of heavy alternative rock, hip-hop, and electronic sounds it has something for everyone. The only thing that they were missing was a singer and the final piece of the puzzle came in the form of Chester Bennington who joined the band later in an audition where he went first and after hearing him the other candidates just left without even performing. It was a natural choice for the rest of the group and they soon fused into a band who while truly original manage to maintain an edge that makes ... Read the complete review

Linkin Park is said by many to be just another manufactured boy band, just this time in a heavier sense. If you ever hear some one say this then they will be very wrong- Linkin Park was formed under the Original name of Hybrid Theory (which later became the name of their first album) and the members met in college and high school in southern California, except the Bassist Pheonix, who joined later, as before they programmed the bass lines in afterwards. They have been together for over five years now but have only just started releasing proper albums since they have been signed to Warner Brothers. The current line-up of band members is as follows: Brad ... Read the complete review

Linkin Park, a band I think have been completely overlooked. I tend to hear comments such as ‘ugh they’re a manufactured band’ ‘they’re commercial’ and so on etc. etc. In the area I live the ‘Goth/townie/trendy’ phase has taken over, everyone has to be labelled. ‘A Goth’: Black clothes, chains, chokers white make-up, music –rock, heavy metal, nu metal, etc ‘A Trendy’: Somebody who always has to wear labelled clothes, e.g Adidas, Reebok etc (funny how people who say they aren’t trendys also wear labels, e.g Vans etc. and that’s ok?) ‘A ...
