One of the best gigs I've been to. (Linkin Park - Live)

Advantages: Vocals were amzing

I've been a Linkin Park fan for quite a few years now. I remember getting their debut album 'Hybrid Theory' back in 2000. Unfortuneatley I missed out on getting tickets to see them support The Deftones in 2001. A few years on I got tickets to see them as part of their own 'Projekt Revolution' tour at the Milton Keynes Bowl, which was almost a mini festival, there were 7 acts in one afternoon, which led to being a very long afternoon, but there was no doubt about it the wait for the headlining act was well worth it!

Linkin Park eventually came on stage at around 9pm, and continued to play until 1045! One thing that I was very wary of Chesters (lead singer) voice, as on the studio albums he screams a fair bit. But his voice was pretty much spot on throughout the entire set!

At the end they came on and did the usual encore, but the 1st track was one of my favourites the from the 1st album, 'Pushing Me Away', which they did a beautiful version of, with just vocals and Piano. After doing the usual 3-4 songs encore, they walked off, and came back on again! As Jay-Z was the act on before Linkin Park he came on for a couple tracks from their collabaration album 'Collision Course' which were brilliantly done.

The venue itself was incredible! I've not been there before and it managed to live upto all expectations. I think there were around 45,000 people in attendance.

Overall an incredibly good gig.
