Metallica make a cheeky play on words to name this their dvd debut that really makes use of the format. Coming on two dvd's this features a concert from Fort Worth in Texas in 1997.

The lengthy concert doesn't disappoint as the band play on a centre stage and swap sides during songs. They play to all the crowd and get some great reaction back. At one point Hetfield asks the crowd to join in a shout of 'WE DON'T GIVE A SH*T!".

The concert is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround, crank it up and you'll feel like the band are playing in your room. It's very involving, has great bass and ROCKS!!!!

This was one of the first music dvd's ever to really fully realize the potential of dvd. The tracks in the set list marked '*' have a multi angle option. By pressing the angle button on your remote you can choose to watch a single band member during the track or the band as a whole. Perfect for concentrating on those solos.

Not content with putting just the concert on the dvd, you also get some behind the scenes footage with a lot of backstage antics with the badn and crew. There are interviews and looks at jam sessions as well as deciding what to eat it's great stuff for the fan.

There is also an extensive photo gallery that features over 1000 stills from all over the world, taken while on tour.

All this is presented in a 4:3 TV format aspEct ratio and the picture quality is excellent. You might pay a little more for this set but it's worth it. Buy i
t from Australia if you really want it as you'll save yourself some money as this dvd is encoded for Region 2 and Region 4.
