R.I.P Michael Jackson - the greatest entertainer of our time and a true musical genius.

This is a more a review of Michael Jackson, rather than his videos, but felt I had to write something following his tragic death.

Regardless of what you may or may not believe about the rumours and accusations that have clouded Jacksons reputation, you cannot deny that he was a legend in the world of music and gave us so many great songs, videos and perfomances. His album 'Thriller' was truly groundbreaking and has sold over 100million copies worldwide and the video for his title track changed the way music videos were made forever.

Apart from his amazing vocal talent and song writing skills, Jackson was also famous for his dancing, again leading the way with his energy and choreography. He watched soul legends like James Brown and Sam & Dave when he was younger and used their performing styles and dance moves to create his own unique style. His style, of course, featuring the legendary Moonwalk, a move move he didn't invent but certainly perfected.

The tragic news of his death last night will undoubtedly shock the world and start a thousand debates as those who only focus on the negative media circus that surrounded him begin to criticise him and those who support him, but anyone who can appreciate music will be able to remember Michael Jackson for the right reasons, his music, his dancing, his entertainment and his charity work.

A misunderstood, mystery of a man - but an absolute legend and genius.

You will be missed.
