I can't say for certain but, I cannot remember hearing R&B acts using the, by now, all too familiar stoccatto beats prior to Missy's emergence upon the music world... Destiny's child would be a very different sounding band without her influence, Busta Rhymes would have missed out on a playmate... This DVD is very confidently titled "Hits of Miss E... the videos. Volume 1". No doubt there will be lots of future volumes, but there's just Volume 1 available at the moment. It's extremely short, though - with a running time of 25 minutes. It's not bad value for money, because this is not a full price DVD, you can get it for under £8.00. (My copy was £7.49 from Streets online) But you do wonder why record companies are releasing this kind of thing. Why not wait until there's 10 videos, to fill up the disc, and release a proper greatest hits, or maybe put short videos like this on the end of some live footage. Whatever? none of ...
