Advantages: Brilliant. Great Songs.
Disadvantages: None
Muse are my favourite band of all time. I love Mat Bellamy's amazing vocals, the basslines, the drums and most of al I love the staggering amount of noise the three piece can make. I find it amazing that just three people can make such sounds.
The first album 'Showbiz' is my least favourite album but has some classic tracks such as 'Muscle Museum', 'Showbiz and 'Unintended'. This album is alot more experimental than the rest and although it is not my favourite, it is still great.
The second album 'Origin Of Symmetry' has some of my favourite tracks on, and I think it shows us the first glimpse of what Muse are to become. 'Plug In Baby', 'New Born', 'Space Dementia', 'Citizen Erased' and 'Feeling Good' are five of there best songs in my opinion and are what make this album great.
The thrid album 'Absolution' is where I think we begin to see what Muse are now, this album isn't as heavy as the previous, but the songs are more atmospheric. 'Time Is Running Out' and 'Hysteria' are the two best songs on the album and are two of the best Muse have done. This album also has songs such as 'Stockhokm Syndrome', 'Butterflies and Hurricanes' and 'The Small Print' which again are monstrous rock songs.
There fourth album is without a doubt my favourite album, with the the like of the epic 'Knights of Cydonia' which is definitely one of my favourite to the RnB track 'Supermassive Black Hole'. I think Muse really showed there prowess on this album and it made them the biggest band in the world, and led them to be the first artist to sell out the new Wembley Stadium.
Live Muse are unmatchable, there stage sets are unbelievable and the way they hold the crowd is excellent. I have seen them three times in total. First at Leeds Festival, then at Sheffield Hallam Arena and finally at Wembley Stadium. Every time they were excellent but the Wembley Stadium gig was the greatest I have ever seen and one I will never forget.
Muse are the greatest band of our time.
Summary: My favourite band of all time.
