Best thing to come out of Nirvana was the exit wound. They have got to be the most overated band of all time. They write terrible lyrics and David Grohl is their only salvation being the most talented musician amongst them.

Structurally the songs are so badly written often without a good bridge structure. They are also very repetitive. The only reason they are so popular is because of heroin/cocaine addict Kurt Cobains suicide. Nirvana is responsible for the unwashed teenage element which can often be seen hanging around our streets at night. I could never understand how grunge could become a fashion. There are kids out there who can't even remember what shampoo is for.

Kurt Cobain is the worlds worst singer. They are single handedly responsible for the despicable music scene of today due to their popularity. One day their fan base will grow up and get into good music.

Nirvana weren't even the godfathers of Grunge. They weren't the first grunge band by a long shot. That prize goes to Chris Cornells band Soundgarden, who disbanded on the pinacle of their success with Black Hole Sun.

It's a pity the bullet never ricocheted and got that bloody awful Courtney Love at the same time.
