I've only very recently come across 'No Doubt.' I've been surfing the Internet for information about them, discovering that they have been together for like 15-16 years is it?? I thought that 'Hey Baby' was their first single boy was I wrong!! To my belief they have been a very successful group. They have done 4-5 albums is it?? Not really sure. :-( No Doubt (1992) 1. Okay, Well i can't believe how long No Doubt have been together, is like 14 years now? Wow, i hope that there will be many more years to come aswel. I only started listening to No Doubt when i first heard "Just a girl", so that was a coupla years ago now, doesn't time go fast when your havin fun, ahem anyways.. What first made me pay attention was how distinctive Gwen's voice is, it is very versatile, and interesting to listen to. Of course "Don't speak" was the song which really took them into the mainstream "area", more people were listening to them and were accepting more alternative sounds, No doubt ... All though some people dont like No Doubt I have to say that I really do find them quite appealing. They hail from Australia and formed in 1986. They are headed by Gwen Stefani who is the female singer in the band. The song I like best by No Doubt is 'Don't Speak' followed closely by 'Just A Girl' which ooze the talent and ability of Gwen and sound really cool with the sound system turned up (and down for thast matter). I have heard it said that No Doubt are one hit wonders, but their second successful hit 'Just A Girl' disproves this and shows they are much more than just wannabees. Hopefully they will continue ... Like many people, I'm sure, the one No Doubt song that sticks in the mind is their monster hit "Don't Speak". This classic pop song is one that will be around for years, no doubt. Unfortunately, it is so unlike any of other their other songs that, if you thought this is what they are about then you are in for a let-down. No Doubt were formed in 1986 by John Spence with brother and sister pair, Eric and Gwen Stefani.
