Easy to Get Into - Advantages: Great punk songs of all types for all ages, Still going strong, Six great albums and another on the way... - Disadvantages: The last couple of albums became a little 'commercial' and were not as good, Will not appeal to everyone

The Offspring band consists of Dexter (vocalist), Greg K (bass guitarist), Ron Welty (drums) and Noodles (lead guitarist). The bands first album was Ignition which was released in 1992. Then it was Smash which came in 1995. The next was Ixnay on the Hombre which was released just a year before the bi o our shops in 1995. The next to follow was ... Read the complete review

I don't think I'm really a typical Offspring fan. I don't wear the T-shirts, don't have a single piercing, and it would take a lot of cold, hard cash to get me to ever dye my hair. Even then it would have to be non-permanent. Admittedly, the first of their music I ever heard, was from the 1998 Americana. I think the first ... Read the complete review

I have only ever bought two offspring albums but I can safely say that both of them were well worth it. The first one I bought was Americana which you can get in HMV now for about a tenner. The released songs it has on it are kids aren't alright, get a job and no.1 pop hit pretty fly for a white guy released in 1998. The ... Read the complete review

If you have read my opinion on 'Conspiracy of One' then you will know that i don't find the new Offspring style to be as good as the old style. I remember waiting in anticipation for the releases of first 'Smash' and then 'Ixnay On The Hombre' with gleaming eyes. They were albums that i couldn't wait to get. I was ... The Offspring are the pinnacle of music in my opinion- these guys got me into music last year when I heard the fantastic "Ixnay on the Hombre" round my friend's house. I now have all six albums, loads of new and old singles, T-shirts, hooded tops; even their home video, the not-so-brilliant "Huck It!" (it's still worth ... Read the complete review

I really love the Offspring they are one of the greatest bands ever and although they only found commercial fortune in the mid-90s, the Offspring had been a staple of the southern Californian punk community since 1984. Singer/guitarist Bryan 'Dexter' Holland and bass player Greg Kriesel announced their intention to form a band at a party ... Read the complete review

Through out the years people all over the world have heard music in one form or another. But by no stretch of the imagination would anyone come to believe that everyone could like the same sort of music, and that is why that people have the large variety that can be found today. But does that give people the right to be prejudice against ... Read the complete review

For Quite a long time now the Offspring have been one of my favourite bands. They first caught my attention with ‘Smash’ and then after that I was hooked. I saw them at Reading 1999, which I loved and I thought it was fantastic when Dexter Holland sprayed everyone with the fire hoses. And I still like them now. I have just ... Read the complete review

The Offspring formed in the late 80's - they released an excellent debut album in 1989.
