Newest Review: ... long hours. The thing is, I would go anywhere, at any cost, to watch him make music. Every time I come out inspired, ... more  ... uplifted, excited, and stunned. I try and take someone new with me each time, and their reaction to this performer is almost as good as the music itself. Last night at the proms, I heard someone behind me in the arena describe the experience as a revelation. This is the best description I can find, it is like hearing music reinvented note by note. Maxim Vengerov. The greatest Violinist of all time. I don't know where to begin when expressing my views on this man. All I can say is that he embodies for me all that music means. When I watch him play it is as if he isn't even there, that he becomes the music, and that at the risk of being cliched, it speaks directly through him.
