Outkast in general

Well first of all I would like to say thanks to the record company who took Outkast under their wing and gave them a contract.I LOVE U!!! Well before I get carried away just a few things I would like to say. Outkast's debut single Miss Jackson just rules! There couldn't be a better song for a debut.Another thing is that you HAVE to check out their new single So Fresh So Clean it is as funky as Miss Jackson.They rap through the lilting verses, but there's one sweet,honey-toned voice singing the infectious chorus.How long they can make the same format work remains to be seen. Where do you start when faced with a stroke of pure genius. Outkast are finally being given the recognition that they deserve, that being a lot. Ms Jackson is without doubt the standout track on a standout album (stankonia) and will be remembered for years to come as one of the gems of 2001. The reason behing the popularity of the track may well be the cleverly rapped tale of a pleading apology from a man to his mother in law or the infectiously catchy piano hook that lingers in the background of the son, but ultimately etches itself into the minds of everybody who hears the track.
