You'd be forgiven for not knowing who Ozomatli are, for unlike in the US where they have a cult following, they only have a little brewing interesting here. Basically, if you went to Glastonbury 2000 (lucky you!), or stayed at home to watch the abysmal BBC panned highlights, you'll have found some consolation too that, they showcased Ozomatli. Basically Ozomatli are a huge multicultural band playing a diversity of instruments and fusing a number of styles such as latin, salsa, hip-hop, punk and jazz, you name it. As with the last opinion of the band I also got my first glimpse of the band at Glastonbury 2000 and they were brilliant.....also one of the singers (there were a fair few) did the biggest stage dive i have ever seen! From the stage right into the crowd it was brilliant. Their live show has been enough to persuade me to scour the internet for their songs, they gave an address but i can't remember it. Well i said scour it inet it took me a few seconds to find stuff, there are tracks available on Napster (hope they will stay there and Napster aren't shut down) ... Read the complete review

I first saw these during Glastonbury 2000 and there are loads of them. I think I counted around 20 on the stage at one point, all playing instruments or something. So after a week or so of hunting through record shops and surfing the Internet, I managed to find a single CD by Ozomatli, with 3 tracks on. I played over and over a least 6 times and I couldn't get into, there was a lack of something. Maybe it was consistency or maybe it was something to do the fact that it was only 3 different tracks.
