Phoenix in general

Never heard of Phoenix? Neither have most people, judging by the lukewarm chart reaction to their last single, 'If I Ever Feel Better'. That's a shame, because Phoenix have the potential to be huge, rather than just stay the darlings of the alternative music press they currently are. Their music will be liked by anyone who's a fan of the American, middle-of-the-road rock field currently occupied by the likes of Semisonic...it's this kind of music, mixed with a touch of Eagles and a hint of Modjo (they're a French band, y'see).
