I recently bought pinks album as I like the songs there you go and some girls I was quite suprised by the songs this album would be ideal if you were anti-men espically the songs there you go,you make me sick,cant take me home and stop falling.There are different emotians although on most of them shes saying I hate all men although she says she writes what shes feeling but there also are a couple of songs about love such as love is such a crazy thing and hiccup. Pink's debut album - Cant Take Me Home - has got to be one of my favourite albums from 2000. Her first single released in the UK 'There You Go' was a huge hit for her, getting very high in the UK Top 40 singles chart. It was also another girls v boyz r&b anthem, following from the likes of TLC and Destiny's Child. She is one fiesty female aswell, and you only need to look at her hair to see why. Where do I begin in describing this album from one of the up and coming new sensations to hit the music industry... In all honesty when I heard her first single that she released, 'There You Go' I wasn't convinced of her capability as a contender in the world of music. She appeared to be a 'wannabe' with her pink hair and angry lyrics. I admit as time went on her catchy tunes and hard hitting lyrics converted me! All this by her second single, 'Most Girls'! Pink I really like Pinks album "Can't Take Me Home". It has a mixture of songs including some slow songs which suprised me as I expected them all to be as up beat as "There you go". However I think her album is great! She has a lot of confidence which is good because so probably has to deal with a lot of criticism about the fact she is white and sings R&B. By doing this she is trying to break a race barrier and I say go for it! Pink is the unexpected new comer with moving beats and lyrics. She teams with LaFace Records to create a sound of her own. She's R&B and pop mixed together. Her confident voice makes all the songs on her album a sucess. Her title song, 'Can't Take Me Home' is also a great beat.
