You thought he was going to sample Jazz records forever? Unfortunately for Q-Tip, sorry Kamaat, today’s hip hop audience is potentially the most hostile he’s ever had to face: they espect you to live up to the extraordinarily high standards you may have set for yourself and any deviation from the norm falls on the deaf ears of listeners unresponsive to change.
