Advantages: S Club Juniors in the flesh, S Club in the flesh

Disadvantages: Last ever show

This op is actually on last nights concert, 25-4-03, Wembley arena, the last tour date ever!
It was also not just S Club it was also S Club Juniors. Both bands played for an hour each, juniors first. They all sang their hits with about five costume changes each.

*JUNIORS*
I personally went to see S Club Juniors, I fancy Calvin and thing their songs are great, I was one of the first fans of S Club 7 though.

The juniors were great they talked to the audience and did some great dances, they sang well and they all did an equal share of work. When they sang 'one fine day' a 50's style ice-cream parlour appeared along with the girls dressed as pink ladies, except for Daisy and Hannah who were dressed as cheerleaders who did some great gymnastics. After the girls sang one fine day and only you we heard a motorbike revving and the 3 junior boys appeared, dressed as T-Birds and travelling around on motor scooters. Then Calvin sang Puppy Love, when the line "someone help me, help me please" came up he stopped and asked if anyone wanted to help him, this made every single girl in the room scream yes, then he picked a small girl out of the audience, put her on one of the ice cream parlour chairs and sang to her. (Sigh)

Towards the end they sang two new songs then went off, everything went black and then the two side screens showed a part of the video for one step closer then it said "do you want more?" then they came on sang one step closer and another new song then they went off.

The juniors sang for an hour then......

*S CLUB*
It took about 5 minutes for the stage to get set up but everyone had started to clap the England chant and end it with S CLUB. This passed the time. Suddenly six tubes were brought on stage and from them came S Club! They sang then talked to people to rev them up. When they sang S Club Party the juniors came on to help them, they all sang and danced together and th
e juniors
definitely have more energy! Then the juniors left and S Club went on. About 1/2 an hour in they said we were going to be on TV the next day on CD:UK then they sang Goodbye, it was really sad they were all crying and so were the audience. Then they sang about four more songs.

I was a bit disappointed at the ending, they just stopped, there was no encore no amazing light show, they just stopped.

*WEMBLEY ARENA*
I've been here before to see Steps and the The Spice Girls (and soon after both bands broke up I must be jinxed) and every time I go I get annoyed at the toilets they have about 6 and those all have two queues feeding in from two sides, I think that’s cheating!

I was also annoyed at the fact they'd said before the show that there merchandise stands were going to be open afterwards and when we got out they were but they were sold out of everything! When I asked one of the guys behind the counter if there was a website to buy the merchandise he shrugged!

Over all it was a great concert I have no complaints. If there were any more shows I would definitely go.

The tickets cost £25 each but that is two bands and the Spice girls cost £25

I never heard of this group (and junior group). After reading this, I still don't, but the review was interesting and provide solid general concert tips.

It's a shame S Club are splitting up.

My 10 year old daughter is desperate to see the Juniors in concert!
