Max Martin I have noticed writes , or co-writes most of artists such as BRITNEY SPEARS , BACKSTREET BOYS , NSYNCs etc ... songs ! I don't know if you've ever noticed how all htese artists songs , are obviously pop , but they all have the same vibe and feel to each song ? You could play me a Nsync song and I could easily see Backstreet , or Britney singing it - Olnly Backstreet would do a better job ! I just thought I;d say the mans brilliant and I love all the songs he's written for these artists , I wonder if when I'm famous he'll be writing mine ..... hmmmm somthing to think about there ! ... i think that the bands of today take total advantage of the song writer!! they make the song then in example a boy band will sing it and the only time the guy who made the song is know is when there at awards claiming its a great song and then they say there name!! its all messed up nower days and if we wnt bk to the 80's or further to the 60's it would benifit us all! its true its damn true!! thats my opinion! what do u think? ... The Four Tops consisted of Levi Stubbles (lead vocals), Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo Benson and Lawrence Payton. The original members performed together for over forty years. The Four Tops were probably the most stable and consistent group to emerge from Motown records. They scored a number of big pop and rhythm and blues hits between 1964 and 1967. Almost all their hits were written by the motown songwriting team consisting of Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier and Eddie Holland. The Four Tops were renowned for there polished close harmony singing, the precise choreography and their complex stage routines. The Four Tops were undoubtedly the most ... Read the complete review

Motiv8 [Pop producer extraordinaire Steve Rodway makes music under the guise of Motiv8 and has now been crafting pop masterpieces for the last seven years] Very few people will have heard of Steve Rodway, as his name usually manages to go unnoticed on the records that he has been involved in. However the reputation of his recording moniker 'Motiv8' has grown in stature in dance music circles over the latter half of the 1990s. Motiv8 remixes are pleasure to behold, and I can recommend any of the records that Steve Rodway has lent his unique touch to. His production style appeals to anyone of a happy go lucky nature who is into good old ... Read the complete review

You must all know Radiohead and Travis, right? If you've forgotten Radiohead, then you can't have escaped Travis being shoved down your throat for most of this year. Anyway, the man behind both band's last albums (and both their upcoming new ones) is one of the most sought after producers in England; Nigel Godrich. The only Godrich album I own is Radiohead's 'OK Computer', but hearing that, and then hearing the Travis stuff on TV, I've sussed out his style already, atleast between these two bands. Basically Godrich is one of those producers who likes to mellow out (and go rocky a bit too), he's not interested in the mad-for-it ... Read the complete review
