Sonique in general

Sonique totally rocks! I think her style of music is the best, she has this excellent way of mixing other people music and her own, it just makes you want to get up and 'jig' and dance! Her first song was the best for me. It had good vocals and strong dance beats. Sonique is consistent with this in all her songs. She keeps a good beat and a good backing sound and then adds the excellent vocals to give it that final ‘touch’. Right, I am a massive Sonique fan, I love all kinds of dance music for that matter, but I think that Sonique's work was the highlight of the summer, some of the songs bring back lots of fond memories of the summer. I think that all of her work is very good, all of the tunes have a great beat to them and are all very catchy tune's. There arent many places you can go without running into Soniques work one way or another. She has a great record with her album 'Hear my cry'. Sonique is a DJ with a difference because she not only mixes hard edged dance records but sings live over the top of them, it shouldn't work but it does and this CD really shows off both talents. This double CD DJ mix from spring 2000 didn't get a lot of attention when it was released because it came out before 'It Feels So Good' hit the top of the charts. The track choice on the first CD is OK but only really gets going half way through, but then ends with the fantastic 'conductor and cowboy' mix of her own track 'It Feels So Good'. CD 2 is great from start to end with harder tracks and some great vocals from Sonique. ...
