The best band to come out of Wales (Stereophonics in general)

I had never heard of the Stereophonics until ?bartender and the thief?, which a quality tune, and so I had to go out and buy the album ?performance and cocktails?. I originally thought that this was their first album, then I heard ?local boy in the photograph? on the radio and was told of their first album by a friend. So loving their second album so much, I went out and bought ?word gets around?, and now I really don?t know which of the two I prefer.

The first album has some great songs, and some good songs, but no really under average songs on the album. But there is one song that is below the standard of the rest of the album, it would have to be ?last of the big time drinkers?, unfortunately this high paced tune is a bit too cheesy for a band such as the Stereophonics. The best song on the album has to be argued between ?local boy in the photograph?, ?a thousand trees?, and ?more life in a tramps vest?, each of which you could probably listen to all day, and not get sick of them.

Then there is ?performance and cocktails?, which really is a great follow up to there first album, and, like the first one, there is only one under average song, that would be ?plastic california?, which is a really annoying song. This album has songs which are even better than the songs on the first album, songs like ?t-shirt sun tan?, ?hurry up and wait?, and ?is yesterday, tomorrow, today??, each of which could make any long journey seem like considerably less time.

On the whole, the Stereophonics are a truly great band, and I cannot wait until they bring out a new album, which I think that I will be buying as soon as it comes out.
