Tall Paul Newman as his full name suggests is a DJ who is,....TALL! He is also a very talented DJ who will live in my memory for performing one of the best sets of my life. He played a set on Pete Tongs "IN the Mix" show one night. Mind blowing. The song selection was ace. Tin Tin out/Always something there, Stone Roses/Fools Gold Remix to name but a few. His albums that I have bought tend to be a nit too hard House for my liking. They include very fast tracks that bang your brains out! I prefer to hear more tune in my music. Why, why, why has this young man got such a terrible reputation? The first time that I went to see him me and my friends had already decided to take time out during his set. We were walking off the dance-floor when he started, and immediately turned right back round and danced manically for the hour that he ruled the decks. TP always seems to know exactly what his crowd wants and always plays up to that, never fading through his set, he just gets better the whole time. And to top it all, he is a really nice bloke! He has all the components to make him one of the Superstar dj's. He plays choice tunes, always the best of the new trance, usually getting harder ... Read the complete review

If you like your tunes hard, funky and chunky Tall Paul is an excellent choice. I personally guarantee that you'll have a great night of dancing if this man's behind the decks. TP really knows how to read the crowd, picking and choosing his next record to continually push them a little bit harder and higher. His only flaw maybe that he can play tunes which maybe a bit hard on the ear for the less hardened clubber. If you're into more mainstream house, you may not appreciate his tough style - but I'd certainly recommend you try him at least once because it's seriously high energy stuff.
