Although I'm not a huge fan of 'TLC' I have enjoyed their music and style in the past years. This opinion of mine is a 'tribute' to the member 'Lisa Lopes' who fatally died this week and will show the bringing together of the group and her past memories...

I was shocked to hear the death of another famous role model through the media this week, just days after the sudden death of the BBC CHOICE 'Liquid News' presenter, Christopher Price, unfortunately Lisa Lopes was taken from us when she had a car crash whilst on holiday. There were 7 other passengers on board, all unhurt.

Unfortunately in this sad world, talent is taken from us like it has with 'Left Eye' The same has happened within the last few years with famous stars, 'Tupac' 'Aaliyah' and also dear 'Christopher Price'

'TLC' became a group in 1992, their name standing for the members names: 'T-Boz' 'Left-Eye' and 'Chili' Their debut album was called 'Oooooooh...On the TLC Tip' but the groups first amazing sucess was noticed in 1994 when their new album, 'CrazySexyCool' hit platinum 10x.

Then came the real hits for the group as well as many Grammy awards too. 'Waterfall' 'NoScrubs' and 'Unpretty' were just three of the huge sucesses for the group. The groups overall success was shown from the 3 albums released, 'Oooooooh...On the TLC Tip' 'CrazySexyCool' and then 'FanMail'

But Lisa was enthusistic and went on last year to head on towards a solo career, she released a song with a wicked video as her debut single and it was a great track but her solo-hits were yet to come, she didn't get around to releasing anymore tracks but she did release an album.

She was still only enjoying the younger stages of her life aged only 31 and she was still furthering her career, 'solo' wise and with he
r famous girl-trio group 'TLC' This fatal accident has destroyed beautiful talents.

TLC had just finished recording their fourth album, the follow-up CD to 'FanMail' which was released back in 1999, Lisa was also still in the production of launching her solo career which seemed to going well, she released her debut album, 'Supernova' last year. The young star was also in the process of changing her name to NINA, unfortunately she never got round to doing it and she will always be known as Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes.

Thank you for reading this opinion, its a shame this tragic accident has had to happen for me to write on a brilliant group, fantastic singers and a lot of talent. At least we all have her fantastic music to remember her by, I wasn't a huge fan but I do consider myself 'a fan' so this tribute goes out to everyone reading this in loving memory of 'Lisa Left Eye Lopes'
My thoughts are with her grieving family and friends and the present moment.

Best wishes to all and live life to the full, emma xXx :0)

Only ever heard Lisa's 'Never be the same again' duet with Mel C but still, her death was tragic.
And from just that one song, never mind her others that I'm sure are equally as good, a total loss to the world of music.

Lisa :)
