When I was younger I would hear Tom Jones played by my mum and always liked his songs like 'the green green grass of home' and 'its not unusual' but when my sister went to see him in concert when I was about 16 how I laughed going to see Tom Jones at her age what a laugh! But now and for a few years now I can really see the appeal. I don't think he's particulary handsome although I don't class him as ugly at the same time but it's his voice! He has such a lovely charm about him when he's singing and the hits he has had just get better and better. Tom Jones just seems to have come alive again in the last few years and I don't think he has had a bad hit. One of my favourite solo's has to be 'Sex Bomb' but I just love the duet's he has done also, he seems to be such a hit with the younger people of today like he was back in my mums day. A truly brilliant artist which is only proved by the fact that he can appeal to such a wide audience and still have hits in the top 10 year after year. Lets hope he goes on to do more and more for years to come.
