U2 in general

I was still in college when I heard U2's song With or without you, at first its just an ordinary song but when you carefully listen to the it, its like full of emotion. I didn't know who the singers at that time and so I search for it, and I found out that it was U2 and since then I look for there other songs and I don't regret searching for it. Music is very important to me and indeed there are many bands and singers that I love and admire but U2 will always hold a special place in my heart. This opinion is about U2 and their music but it is also a personal opinion of them and what their music means to me. To me music is a very emotional thing, it can lift your spirits when you are feeling down or take you deeper into yourself when you are feeling low. U2's records demonstrate this very well, from great upbeat rock songs to some lovely ballads. For a long time in my life (i.e most of it) I have had to grow up listening to my Mum play her records cassettes and CDs (she has yet to reach MP3s thank god) In amougst her collections of terrible to really quite good, she seems to own pretty much the whole back catalogues of several groups U2 included.
