One of the best Alternative Band (U2 in general)

I was still in college when I heard U2's song With or without you, at first its just an ordinary song but when you carefully listen to the it, its like full of emotion. I didn't know who the singers at that time and so I search for it, and I found out that it was U2 and since then I look for there other songs and I don't regret searching for it. I also found out that U2 is an Irish band from Dublin Ireland, its has four members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. I love Bono's husky high voice, I feel like when he sing a song I that passion of singing and the message that he want to say is very clear. The 80's rock music was very much alive because of them.

With or without you
This is the first song that I heard from them even if the song is one of U2's old song. This is for me is a classic one, the intro of the guitar really brings goose bumps to me. Simple song with very emotional theme.

The Sweetest Thing
If the first song is more of a serious song I think this one is like a sweet happy song base on its MTV. Bono is really cute in the video plus they guested Boyzone in this video. Seeing a rock singer being a nerd looking guy is really very appealing for me.

Elevation
This is the theme song of Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie. I didn't have a chance to watch the film until now, but I already listen to its theme song a hundred times. The song is like an action pack song and the video is like the band member is really in the movie.

One
This is a one song which they collaborated with Rnb singer Mary J. Blige. It another great song about peace, helping each other and having One LOve. The voice of the two singers blended very well, I think the song is very related to Bono being a involve in different humanitarian work.

Additional
Bono is not just U2's vocalist he his also involve in different humanitarian works specially in Africa. He send awareness about AIDS and the poverty in Africa. Part of him is a singer song writer and another part of him is a man with a big heart, he use his talent as a weapon to be heard and to be aware of poverty and AIDS.

Personal
The band and the members have criticize but being in the music industry for so long I think they already proven themselves as one of the greatest band ever.
