Born in Burgeoning Long Beach California, Warren Griffin III, know as Warren G to us, exploded into the rap scene in 1994. Warren’s parents where huge music lovers and he grew up listening to his parents' extensive collection of jazz, soul and funk records, he also hang out in Long Beaches local V.I.P. record store, where he gained a vast amount of knowledge about Hip-Hop. AS a youngster he and two of his friends Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg became collaborating in a group named after their area code, 213.
