Oh no - here we go again - another boyband and yet more of an invasion of the charts by re-released oldies. Thank goodness these bands tend to be two minute wonders and are gone as soon as they arrive! Their songs are pretty much the same - as I suppose can be said about a lot of today's offerings. The dull, repetitive, unoriginal renditions tend to be supported by a growing trend of female under twelves - was I ever like that - God I hope not - how embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway to finish the way I started - if you like their songs BUY THE ORIGINALS ...

I got this CD free!!! I want the world to know that I did not buy it. There was an offer on in Boots for free CD's and this was the only one left and on hearing it I'm not surprised. My music tastes vary incredibly and I was willing to listen and judge it on its own merits. Having seen the group singing live on various programmes I was fairly impressed, well impressed with the two brown haired boys, I'm still not sure what the 3 blondies are in the 'band' for. But the background 'singing' is so polished you can almost smell the Mr Sheen. Well this CD contains the hits that they have recently had, you know the ones, 'Swear it ...

Many people had written off Irish band Westlife before they really had a chance to prove themselves, but have they? Well, I've had this album for about 6 months, and still haven't brought myself to listen to the unreleased tracks (apart from one interesting interpretation of Extreme's "More than Words"). If you're a fan of Irish cheesy pop, then this is suitable for you. If you're looking for quality musicianship, then you're in the wrong place. The songs themselves aren't that bad, it's just the fact that they didn't write them and can't perform them that puts people off. If it's just the music you're after, ...
