Advantages: You would be in for a show with this lot.

Disadvantages: The loos, always a disadvantage of festivals!

I was just reading another dooyoo members review on this and had to have a go.. If I could list all the bands I wanted to see I could have a year long festival, I'll try and keep this as brief as I can!

Ok, I'm going to keep it current as other wise choosing between bands like Queen, The Beatles and and T Rex just may be too impossible. Here goes ...

THE WHITE STRIPES-
Quite possibly the best bands of the last 10 years. Jack White's stirring vocals have to be witnessed. (I saw the Raconteurs live and they were mind blowing but my ultimate goal is to see him in the Stripes). Plus, their version of Jolene has to be one of the best cover songs ever. Sends shivers down the spine, this live would be electric as the sun goes down on the last night of a big festival.

REM-
This band, if not the coolest or current of bands at the moment know how to fill a place. Despite Michael Stipe being one of the shyest rock stars going he can sure put on a show. They could take a crowd form jumping around and singing along with Man on the Moon and Losing My Religion to swaying with lighters in the air to Everybody Hurts. A great live band.

ARCTIC MONKEYS-
How could i leave them out? I'm not sure there's a person in the UK that doesn't know most of the words to I bet you look good on the dancefloor. A real crowd pleaser.

MUSE-
For those into things a little heavier than REM, these guys are also great live. With festivals you need bands that make a lot of noise. I think we're guaranteed that with Muse.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS-
Ok, right now you are probably thinking this is a very odd choice. Wasn't he in America with a beard and chasing UFOs not so long ago? True. But think back about 10 years and what a show his guy could put on. He could make people 2000 deep in a crowd feel like he was singing for them. Any one who went to live8 will know what I'm talking about. Robbie we're waiting for the comeback..

THE GOSSIP -
This festival has been way to male focused so far. Beth Ditto has the biggest pair of lungs and the best female stage presence right now. I would love her to don her blue catsuit and belt out Standing the way of Control. Hopefully they'd treat us to their cover of Careless Whisper too.

MIKA-
Ok, this guy is like marmite, but for those that love him, he puts on a great show. For those that don't it gives them time to get the beers in. Mika shows have become like the Rocky Horror Show, where the uber fans will dress up in characters form his songs. Atmosphere a plenty and great fun! Ooh and also hopefully he could collaborate with Beth Ditto like he did at the Brits last year because that was fantastic.

BLOOD RED SHOES-
Not as super famous as the rest so I guess they'd be lower billing but one of my favourite bands right now.

Writing this has made me crave some sunshine. Roll on summer...

Summary: My top acts
