...Mr X 2 tha Z, finally Xzibit is getting the recognition that he so rightly deserves. After several years building up his underground sound and also building up an army of fans to follow him throughout his career so far. The first thing that many people will notice about Xzibit is his voice, it seems to flow naturally and doesn't grind away at you like the late Eazy E's voice used to. Its gonna b hard to write an opinion on this artist without swearing ;) I am a big fan of Rap Music, Ive got every track Eminem, Dre and Xzibit has released. Xzibit has a slightly different style of Rap compared to Dre and Snoop and co. He has a more agressive style of rap, especially live. If you are only a fan of X to the Z then "The Up In Smoke Tour" wont be the best thing for you as he is only in Two songs and doesnt feature backstage much either. But The chances are if you like Xzibit then you will like Dre, if this is the case The UP IN SMOKE TOUR is the best DVD you could possibly buy. The music is so much better live. The man they call Xzibit, is he restless or not? He has in the past 5 years he has brought out three Albums and done two tours, featured on albums from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Eminem and LL Cool J, not to mention featuring on some movie soundtracks! The Answer to the question, YES he is restless!!!!! His first album "At the speed of life" was very underground and very true to life. The tracks on this album portray the life he has lead in downtown LA. The second album "40 Dayz 40 Nightz" is less hardcore compared to "At the.......", but just as good if not better.
