Learning to Drive:
... to drive, something my parents said if I didn t do it now I probably never would until it was too late and I had so many other things to pay for, and they were right even a year later I can t imagine trying to pay for lessons with everything else I have to pay for..! It seems now regardless of the fact our cars apparently produce high emissions and we are all destroying the environment trying to get to work ... Read the full review: Freedom.. Learning to Drive ... to drive has been one of the best things and the most stressful things I ve ever done in my life but I m so pleased I have that freedom now. In the UK you have to be 17 to obtain a provisional licence. I believe you can send off two months before your 17th birthday in order to receive it in time. The next step is finding an appropriate driving instructor or school; this is where I went wrong. I had my first lesson on my 17th birthday with a private instructor, I chose him after seeing him driving about. Why I chose him? The brand new Mini... my dream car. The advice I should have taken is to find a recommended instructor, the one all your friends have had or ... Read the full review: The best thing I've ever done by lucy1989 |

NHS in general ... November 2008 I stayed On the Maternity Ward within an NHS run hospital in Bradford. I was dreading this stay as past experiences on this same ward had not been so good for me. However I was pleasantly surprised to find how much things had changed since my last visits. The staff were displaying a whole new positive attitude and a much friendlier side to themselves. In comparison to this, during the past I had found them to be aggressive, bored, un-interested and highly disrespectful. At that time they had also been short-staffed and the management was so poor that the entire time I was there not a single professional came to check on me. It was only when I was being... Taxis ... have always had the opinion that a Taxi driver is doing me a favour by taking me where I want to be, yes I have to pay for it but if we didn t have Taxi drivers then how would we get where we need to go? especially on a night out where alcohol is involved! For this reason I have always respected them, unfortunately not everyone has this train of thought as I found out when my partner became a Taxi driver. He bought an MPV and plated it up as his Taxi and joined a local firm as an owner driver. At a weekend he gets threatened and abuse thrown at him and the car also takes the brunt of peoples booze fuelled anger. Take last Friday night for example; He is driving alon...
