... cloth shoe, there is only one clear winner. The Converse shoe had my feet stinking in no time. Purchase date plus six months, they were leaking up from the sole. I still don't know where the damn water is coming in! In summary, I cannot fault the Caterpillar shoe or boot. You could buy two pairs of Doc Martens for a pair of caterpillar boots. In the long run, you'd need about four pairs of Docs to go the same distance. And your nose cut off to stop you sniffing your freezing cold, rotting and unsupported feet...more

Premium Review Caterpillar: No False Economy Here!! (411 words)

For some reason i am compelled to write a review about boots. Those of you who read my review of the Clio will no doubt be familiar with my oversized clown feet, depressing the brake and clutch simultanously. Caterpillar boots are worth every penny that you will be force to pay in instalments. They're comfortable, virtually waterproof and just so warm in winter and cool in summer. It would not be an understatement to say that the inside of the boot is lushly carpeted in a soft baize. In terms of value for money, the boots are three and a half years old and still warm, supportive and unobtrusive. I have an old cloth pair which are even older and as ...  Read the complete review

I first bought my Cat boots about a year ago they were £90.00. They are made of solid material and well worth every penny. As I have size 12 feet cat boots are about the only boots I can find that fit me. When you are pollishing them they come up like brand new boots every time. Also adding a bit of boot protecter keeps the water out more. They are great for long distance walking in any weather as they have a very soft interrior. The outer material keeps water out very well just trust me the water that ive been in there water proof. The tongue in the front of the boot is better than most you find as it never slips down the side and does not feel ...  Read the complete review

One of the most important items of clothing you wear is of course your shoes. It is very important that they fit well as this may cause you problems in later life. So when I got my first ever pair of Cat boots about 9mts ago I was delighted. They can cost anything from £50-£100 for the boots and £20-£100 for the trainers side. The Boots are in the desert boot style so they go just above the ankle they come in Brown, black and the pair I have which is the most popular sand colour. What I found most impressive was the boots are on the heavy side yet when you walk in them the do not seem heavy. These are the most comfortable fitting boots I have owned. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Caterpillar boots and shoes (148 words)

I like a good sized well fitting boot for general footwear. I have always worn boots since I can remember and dont often wear shoes unless I have to. My first pair of Cat boots came into my life about 6 years ago. This was before they became trendy and cost about £50. Very good tough sole, soft leather upper Cambrelle lining and bellows tongue. What more could a man want? I have since bought about 4 pairs of boots, all worn out and replaced not fallen to bits or split. Each pair has taken some serious punishment inits time in the garden, snow, mud, kids, walking long distance etc. Another very comfortable option is Cat trainers. Hard wearing, ...  Read the complete review
