I was in a leading department store the other day with my wife and child and was totally shocked by the way that everyone who walked into that store was treated as a shoplifter. I understand that in this day and age security guard's have every right to be suspitious or everyone because of the way crime has risen so steeply,but surely could'nt they be a little less obvious in the way that they follow people around?. The sense of somone thinking that you might steal somthing was too much to cope with, and therefore we left without even looking around properly.
