Advantages: Good variety of products in every price range

Disadvantages: Not enough changing rooms

Arnotts department store is located in the heart of Dublin city on Henry Street. The shop has been there for over 100 years now and it has become an institution in Dublin, if not the whole of Ireland. So many people shop here almost as a ritual.

A few years ago the shop got a complete make-over. The layout and interior was changed and a few new sections were included. Arnotts is 3 (or 4?) floors of everything a department store should have, including an indoor car park.

The store has the usual mens, womens and childrens fashion areas.
There is a very wide range of well known brands and several big names have their very own corner of the store. For example there is a dedicated Benetton and Kookai section. River Island also have a large shop in the basement. The shop could do with more changing rooms throughout however.
The "Impulse" area sells a lot of designer brands so it's more expensive but the "Impulse Footwear" section is extensive,
more shoes and boots than Imelda Marcos could shake a stick at.

Arnotts have an excellent sports area, audiovisual and home sections and a very good cosmetics counter.
A recent addition to the store is the shop "S.F Cody".
This shop sells a good range of novelty items, expensive choccies, cards and there is plenty of gift ideas here.
It is expensive though!

After all that shopping you can take a break in one of the eateries in Arnotts. 'Cafe Sport' serves up ready made
sandwiches and drinks while the restaurants on the first floor serve full meals as well as snacks.

Arnotts is definetely a good place to shop as there is something here in every price range. It's a lovely shop that doesn't feel to overpowering even at the busiest
times of year. It's also located in a very lively part of Dublin.

Arnott's is 'yer only man' as we say here lol! =)
