Twelve Steps of eBayers Anonymous. These steps are necessary for recovery: 1. We admit we are powerless over eBay ? that our houses are a mess, our families are neglected. 2. We believe that eBay was our answer to the emptiness in our lives. 3. We will make an active decision to turn our lives, our keyboard, and our ?enter bid? key over to non-eBay family members for their strict control. 4. We will make a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves in hopes to find more than an insatiable drive to become one in spirit with eBay. 5. We will admit to ourselves and to other eBayers the exact nature of our addiction. 6. We should be entirely ready to pull the plug of our computer, discontinue our ISP and totally abandon eBay. 7. We will humbly asked our family to forgive our shortcomings. 8. We will make a list of all auctions that we have sniped and be willing to make amends to all fellow eBayers who have lost those actions. 9. We will make amends to other people directly affected by our addition, e.g., our family and friends, except those that are also addicted, and will not speak of shilling, sniping or bidding at the dinner table. 10. We are allowed to review our ?My eBay? (even though it is empty) just to see the headings. 11. We will seek solace by visiting other auction sites to remind us how feeble they are in comparison to eBay and prove that at least we had some class in chosing eBay. 12. We will have a spiritual awakening as a result of these twelve steps and hopefully other eBayers will join in and practice these principles in their own lives.

- 16/07/02 I've rated this opinion as it deserves and I'll rate the other as NU as I think this is the right place for it! I'll ask dooyoo to delete the earlier one.
