I'm on my fourth pair now, and for smart but not flashy shoes I wouldn't buy anything else. Kickers are a French brand who make both smart-casual shoes and casual ones, as well as making other clothes and fashion accessories. You can get them in shops like River Island, and also in sports shops. My first pair where my school shoes when I was about fourteen. I'll admit it; I got them because everyone else had them! I now can regretfully tell you that I will never see that seventy pounds again, nor will I ever see the shoes, because they are probably sitting on top of a rubbish dump somewhere by now. Now, I don’t know about you, but when I spend seventy pounds on a pair of shoes, especially if they are from a reputable make like Kickers, I expect to get my money’s worth. And for me, that would entail the shoes lasting a good deal longer than four months! But after about four months the seam started to split ...
