Advantages: Locking tools and one handed opening blades.

Disadvantages: Bottle opener isn't awesome

I have Had The Wave for two years now. I have used it mainly as a rescue knife at a water sports centre but also for camping and everyday handywork.
Twice it has been needed in an emergency and it has never failed. It sliced through the rope in one and allowed me to help the casulty with one hand while opening it due to the one handed opening bladesh. It doesn't rust and I have only need to sharpen it once a year despite excessive use. It is really easy to use and very strong. With the alll the tools locking it is very safe and to date not one accident has happened when being used (touch wood it never will). I got the bit kit and it have used this loads too. I have one complaint; it took me ages to manage to open a bottle with it as the design isn't awesome but I managed once I learnt the technique. Definately get the Wave or the new Charge ALX. It has got to be one of the best buys I ever made. Oh and don't buy a Victorinox as they do rust, are really hard to get tools out and lose their sharpness quickly.

Summary: A Fantastic tool that should be given an award.
