Newest Review: ... 4/5 stars. We have a 'Real Sports Store'! I think that's what it’s called anyway. I'm not a fan of this rather small shop which seems to sell nothing but cricket equipment. It's rather old-fashioned looking and no one seems to be in there ever! They must make some money I suppose - probably like a Sunday football and cricket team kit supplier kind of store. Not ... more

Express Review on Sports Shops Elsewhere

Very poor service. Advertised goods they do not have in stock. The only excuse they could come up with was "we update the website manually!". Disgraceful service....avoid.

Premium Review Watford Sports stores! (872 words)

Rating:

I was surprised to find out that there wasn't a place other than here to write about the sports stores of Watford! But I have to tell you about them, and here seems as good a place as any. I have lived near Watford all of my life, and those living near me will have most probably visited 'The Harlequin' shopping centre - a huge multi level place of shopping heaven for all those who like a good days out in the commercial world of spending! Watford is a great place for fans of the 'sport store' with a fair number of top name shops to choose from! There's a JJB sports! It used to be called Olympus sport, and then changed to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sports Shops Elsewhere: SWANSEA THE CAPITAL OF SPORTS SHOPS (202 words)
by - written on 25/11/00 (Useful, 140 readings)

Swansea has got to be one of the most popular places for sports shops; i have never known so many sports shops to exist in one city. In Swansea we have: 3 JJB Shops Soccer Sports 2 Sports Divisions Quick First Sport Edwards Sports J-D Sports Olympia NIKE SHOP And that’s just to name a few, I can’t remember the names of all the sports shops we have. Whenever a shop seems to close in Swansea a sports shop will take over the premises – I find it ridiculous. If you like sports shops Swansea is a definite place you should visit, there are sports shops everywhere. As I have said there are 3 JJB sports ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gaynor Sports, Ambleside (257 words)

Over the summer, I decided to renew my walking gear, but being a lowly student I had very little money. I go walking in the Lakes often, so a trip there for shopping sounded fine to me. Gaynor Sports in Ambleside looks small from the outside, but it's huge on the inside. It must take up half of the town! Seriously, you go into an entrance on one street, and you can leave through another about 1/4 mile away! So in a shop as huge as this, you can expect a wide range of goodies. And that's what there is. There's three floors to the shop, selling waterproofs, rucksacks, boots, fleeces, accessories (compasses, whistles, etc), sleeping bags, I ...  Read the complete review

This great shopis located about ten minutes away from Golders Green Tube station. it is full of all things you could possibly need for pretty much ANY sport...especially tennis. It hosts pretty much the whole Nike catalogue and anything not in stock can be ordered on the spur of the moment. This not to mention the range of Fred Perry, Champion, Reebok, Sergio Tacchini, Adidas, Fila stuff. The tennis racket range is beyond belief and they even offer a free demo racket service - i tried it, it really works!!! - oh and last week they restrung my racket they can do it in under 24 hours - can you believe it!!! Anyway definitely a 10/10 shop ...  Read the complete review
