There arent many sports shops in Blackpool but there are a few and also alot more shops that sell sports things aswell of other clothing.
There a JJB, JD and Sports world.
Sportsworld is quite new opened in 2007. It is a very large store situated above the old Price Busters. It is 2floors filled floor to ceiling with anything sporty. They have walls of trainers for everyone, sports clothes, workot clothes, footie clothes, golf and other sports clothes. They also do sports equipment for most types of sports. Everything in the store is alot cheaper then other sports shops especially trainers!
I have bought myslef a pair of pink Nike air max trainers that I was looking at elsewhere and were over £70. I went in here and got the same pair for £45! What a bargain. I also purchased my children some trainers last week. Again I was looking online and in other stores and prices for my 9 month old were £20+ something I would pay if had too but would prefer to find cheaper as they dont last long. I went in here and got him the pair I wanted (ADIDAS) and they were advertised as £14.99 but were onliy £10.99 at the till! Bargain. I also got my 2 year old a pair of Nike ones which were £20 so if your after a bargain go here BUT be warned it is very very busy in there and yes they do have alot of staff but you can wait about for ages waiting fpor someone to help you. Some trainers they do ahve the pairs out ready to be paid for but most you have to ask for them. The store is massive but quite easy to find your way around. Theres also a lift at the entrance for disabled/pram access.
JJB- Large store again with 2 floors. Not as much stuff as SW and can be more expensive but they do some nice things and staff are very friendly. Easy to find you way around, theres a lift for disabled/pram access and alot of stairs for everyone else LOL. Changing rooms also.
JD-This is also 2 floors-one being downstairs. There is a lift but when I have been in a few times it has been out of use leavng me stuck with a pram upstairs! Some nice things-all sports wear no equipment. Quite expensive. Staff very friendly and always happy to help.
