Advantages: Lots of choice and all near each other.

Disadvantages: Maybe too many.

Cardiff being the capital of Wales would be expected to have a good selection of supermarkets. I am glad to say that it does, infact I would go as far as to say that it maybe had too many!

Supermarkets are springy up all over the place in the city at the moment. Some of the cheaper outlets like Aldi are building more and more shops. Sainsbury have recently started a shop right in the centre of Cardiff which is a good idea.

Supermarkets can be found in all parts of Cardiff. There are some at Culverhouse Cross, Llanishen, St Mellons and Ely. Infact it is hard to find a place in Cardiff which does not have a supermarket near.

My only complaint is that there is maybe too many. The land that some of the store is on could be used for better things.

As you can see Cardiff is well served by supermarkets. The competition is high which can only be a good thing for the city.
