Advantages: Around 10 out of the 100's of channels are good

Disadvantages: Doesn't work in storms, DigiBoxes break, £32 per month for all of the channels.

Sky Digital looks like an irresistable package-over 100 TV channels for just £32 per month and at the moment installation is just £40 with a free Mini Dish and DigiBox. The fact is, most of these channels are never watched. There are around 10 channels that are never off our tele. That's it, 10 channels out of God knows how many. And we could live without these as well. Interactive shopping-slow and tedious. Who wants to wait that long to see a hanful of shops with an even smaller range of products? It may have all the new series on first, but these will come onto terrestrial later on, and the movies are in the shops before they hit the Box Office screens, which you have to pay an extra £2.99 for each film. Then the Digibox breaks and you have to take out a new 3 year warrenty for £90, a week after your original one has finished. Any storms in the area? Youll soon know as Sky won't work. Is it worth all the hassle-the answer is simply no.
