Advantages: watch programs whenever you want

Disadvantages: cannot record them

Although i happen to think sky's box office programs are a great idea, you cannot record the programs onto video as you can't record a video you have hired from the video shop.

This is to stop piracy, which as we all know costs the film makers millions of pounds a year, all the box office films are relatively new releases and they all have a signal which makes recording them a waste of time.

But if you have seen the film once why would you want to watch it again?
If your anything like me, I like to rewind and watch the good bits again, so come on B Sky B stop the signal being sent , we do like to watch the films again and after all if we were all into making pirate copies , don't you think we could get the equipment to do just that.

The majority of the british public are law abiding and just want to watch the films 2 or 3 times , or even record to be able to view at a later time or date, especially kids films who i hasten to add watch their favourites over and over again.
